BTS Places in Seoul: The Ultimate Fan's Guide for ARMY
You have listened to their songs on repeat, watched every Run BTS episode, and memorized every lyric. Now you are finally in Seoul, the city where it all began.
Before BTS became global superstars, they were seven young trainees eating cheap meals near their small agency in Gangnam, dreaming of their debut. Many of the places from those early days still exist, and ARMY from all over the world visit them every day.
Here is your guide to the must-visit BTS places in Seoul, from their humble beginnings to their headquarters today.
Part 1. Where It All Began: Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam
The story of BTS starts in the quiet streets of Nonhyeon-dong in Gangnam. The first three spots are all within walking distance of each other, so you can easily visit them together.
1. Yoojung Sikdang (유정식당)
If you only visit one BTS place in Seoul, make it this one.
Yoojung Sikdang is a small, family-run Korean restaurant where BTS ate during their trainee days. The members were regulars here long before they became famous, and the owner has supported them from the very beginning. Today, the walls are covered with BTS posters, photos and signed albums.

Address: 14 Dosan-daero 28-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
What to order: Black pork stone pot bibimbap or budae-jjigae (army stew)
Fan tip: Go outside of lunch and dinner rush hours. It is a small restaurant and gets very busy.
2. The Old Big Hit Building (옛 빅히트 사옥)
This is where BTS trained, practiced and lived through their early years, before the company grew and moved to its current headquarters. For many ARMY, this building is a symbol of BTS's humble beginnings and the hard work behind their success.
Fans have left messages, drawings and notes for the members around the building, turning it into a wall of love from all over the world.
Address: Nonhyeon-ro 145-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Fan tip: This is a residential area, so please keep your voice down and be respectful of the neighbors.
3. Cafe Hyuga (카페 휴가)

Here is a fun secret: this cozy cafe used to be a BTS dorm. Today, it is a bright, relaxing cafe where you can enjoy coffee and fresh bread while imagining the members living here in their early days.
Address: 16 Nonhyeon-ro 119-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Fan tip: Make it your coffee break between Yoojung Sikdang and the old Big Hit building.
Part 2. BTS Today: HYBE in Yongsan
4. HYBE Headquarters (하이브 사옥)
HYBE is the company behind BTS today, and its headquarters in Yongsan is a must-visit for every ARMY. The office itself is not open to visitors, but fans come to take photos in front of the building.
HYBE has also opened a pop-up space in part of its first-floor lobby, where exhibitions for HYBE artists' albums are held. In spring 2026, it hosted the BTS "ARIRANG" pop-up with a giant media wall and official merchandise. Pop-ups change with each album, and entry usually requires an advance reservation, so check HYBE's official channels before you go.
Address: 42 Hangang-daero, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
Fan tip: On the members' birthdays and anniversaries, fans often hold cup sleeve events at nearby cafes, and you may even spot themed fan buses.
5. Chompi (촘피)
Not far from HYBE, this cafe is run by Suga's older brother. It is a spacious, calm cafe with healthy bowls and its own merchandise, and a nice stop for fans exploring Yongsan.
Address: 55 Daedagwan-ro 34-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
Part 3. More Fun Stops for ARMY
6. BTS GangnamDol on K-Star Road (K-스타로드)
K-Star Road is a street in Apgujeong and Cheongdam lined with giant bear statues called "GangnamDols," each decorated for a different K-pop group. Find the BTS bear and take your photo with it.
Location: Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Fan tip: The area has some hilly streets, so wear comfortable shoes.
7. BT21 at LINE FRIENDS, Myeongdong
BT21 characters were created by the BTS members themselves. At the LINE FRIENDS store in Myeongdong, you can find BT21 goods and even match your hand against the handprint of your bias.
Location: Myeongdong shopping street, Jung-gu, Seoul
Bonus: Beyond Seoul
Have an extra day? Head to Gangwon-do on the east coast. The bus stop at Hyangho Beach in Gangneung, featured on the cover of BTS's "You Never Walk Alone" album, is one of the most famous BTS photo spots in Korea.
